For our Clabecq site, we are looking for a Methods Engineer

Mission:
This role is part of the maintenance organization and covers planning consolidation, execution follow-up, PM/TPM reporting, reliability project reporting, and Bank Of Idea (BOI) management within the NPS system. Reports direct to the Reliability and Planning Manager.
Your mission is to ensure the consolidation, reliability, and usability of maintenance planning and performance data in order to provide management and RTZ teams with a clear view of execution status, deviations, priorities, and improvement actions.
The role also ensures structured follow-up of reliability projects, preventive maintenance execution, and the Bank Of Idea, with the objective of strengthening execution discipline and team engagement.
- Consolidate all maintenance plans, including maintenance minor (TPM) and major shutdowns (GEGR).
- Update and adjust the consolidated maintenance plan together with the technical teams.
- Track execution progress against plan and ensure reliable status updates in the planning system.
- Measure schedule compliance, identify deviations, and support the analysis of their root causes.
- Produce regular reports on planning status, execution rate, and deviation analysis after each TPM cycle and each GEGR shutdown.
- Structure and maintain the planning database and execution history.
- Ensure alignment between maintenance planning, production shutdown windows, and restart sequences.
2. Reliability project reporting
- Consolidate progress reporting for reliability improvement projects in line with the Hoshin Kanri methodology.
- Prepare structured monthly project review reports for the Maintenance Manager.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project tracking and document management processes.
- Consolidate execution results of preventive maintenance activities across all departments.
- Track execution of TPM work plans by department and by department manager.
- Analyze PM and TPM progress by highlighting delays, bottlenecks, and systemic issues.
- Produce dashboards showing PM coverage, execution compliance, and improvement priorities.
- Provide the Maintenance Manager and RTZ teams with reliable indicators for performance management.
4. Preventive maintenance program follow-up
- Follow the evolution of preventive maintenance program coverage for the rolling mill.
- Monitor execution rates of preventive maintenance tasks across all departments.
- Maintain and update databases related to PM plans and their execution.
- Perform preliminary analyses of the development and execution status of preventive maintenance by department.
- Provide engineers and RTZ teams with clear visibility on PM progress and priorities.
- Manage the maintenance Bank Of Idea within the company's NLMK Production System (NPS).
- Track submission of improvement ideas and ensure correct registration in the BOI database.
- Follow updates, evaluations, validations, and implementation progress of improvement ideas.
- Work with teams to monitor action completion through maintenance department dashboards.
- Produce bi-weekly BOI progress reports to encourage participation and highlight best practices.
- Identify and communicate high-value ideas related to safety, quality, performance, or cost reduction.
- Strengthen team engagement by making implementation results and recognition opportunities visible.
Profil
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Maintenance or Methods or Reliability or Operational Efficiency, …
- Familiarity with SAP tools or other ERP
- Strong energy and proactive behavior
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in master data analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in French and English
