Function

Mission

The HR Controller EUROPE is responsible for collecting, controlling, and analyzing data related to the company's human resources management. This role involves consolidating a wide range of data from workforce, recruitment, absenteeism, work time management, and training to optimize HR policies. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

The HR Controller EUROPE works within the Human Resources Department and reports to the Senior HR Controller. The role involves close collaboration with various European HR team members and other departments to ensure data accuracy and relevance.

Main responsabilities

1. Collection and Analysis of Social Data:

  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize quantitative social data.
  • Ensure the coherence and reliability of collected data.
  • Continue the automation of recurring processes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external social data queries.
  • Determine and/or create relevant KPIs for HR management.

2. Conduct Social Surveys and Studies:

  • Respond to ad-hoc information requests.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on social data.
  • Maintain dashboards on social indicators (workforce, age pyramids, seniority, staff turnover, etc.).
  • Conduct specific studies on topics such as professional equality, apprenticeship training, project costs, absenteeism, etc.

3. HR Consulting:

  • Implement specific HR indicators.
  • Alert on deviations and propose corrective measures.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to HR management to support decision-making.
  • Support HR policy development through data-driven analysis.
  • Advise on best practices for HR processes and systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of HR budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize HR-related expenditures.

Profile

Experience

  • Familiarity with HR Software: Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday and Payroll systems such as SDWorx, ADP, etc.
  • Project Management Skills: Involvement in HR projects, including those with a cross-border focus.
  • Data Visualization Skills: knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar, to support effective communication of insights to stakeholders.
  • Cross-cultural Communication: Ability to work in a multicultural environment and effectively communicate with diverse teams across Europe.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • High level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Aptitude for numbers and data handling.
  • Good interpersonal skills for data gathering and communication of results.

  • Proficiency in French and English (minimum B2 level required).
  • Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively.

  • Open-mindedness and willingness to learn.
