Function

Mission

As a Maintenance Method Engineer, you will report to the hot strip mill's Method Maintenance Manager. You will ensure compliance with the maintenance process in your area, in collaboration with the engineers and foremen.

Responsibilities

• Manages preventive and predictive maintenance standards (maintenance plan, checklists, KPIs, operating procedures, etc.).
• Plans daily, weekly and annual maintenance operations.
• Compiles the maintenance dashboard for your area (Total backlog, Critical PM backlog, Curative OT backlog, PMP quality).
• Determines the criticality level of production line equipment.
• Takes part in improving equipment and work procedures.
• Participates in continuous improvement projects (6S, LOTO, etc.).
• Takes part in improving SAP.
• Monitors production losses and draws up action plans to eliminate/reduce them in collaboration with experts.

Profile

Profile

• Industrial or civil engineer.
• A first professional experience in a similar function.
• Maintenance experience.
• Experience in industrial sector and SAP are a plus.

The environment

As a Maintenance Methods Engineer, you will join a team consisting of a manager and two other Maintenance Methods Engineers. You will manage your work autonomously and can rely on your direct or cross-functional team (there are several production and maintenance teams working on the Hot Strip Mill).

NLMK La Louvière is a historic factory in Wallonia, formerly Boël, and nonetheless a modern industry. The NLMK La Louvière Hot Strip Mill underwent an ambitious revamping program, which was completed in 2023. Our production facility is the most modern in Central Europe and offers a stimulating playground.

Other projects are ongoing to diversify steel supplies and even develop our own steelworks in Europe. Transformations are underway to renew our business model, which is still viable today, in order to limit the impact of the European authorities' reduction in the import of Russian steel by the end of 2028.
