Mission

As Accounting and Tax Business Partner, your main responsibility will be to ensure the compliance of financial statements and tax returns for Belgium and France.

Your main tasks and responsibilities as Accounting and Tax Business Partner are as follows:

• Review and maintain financial statements in accordance with accounting principles,
• Analyze financial statements and prepare financial reports for management,
• Review tax statements with the assistance of specialized firms,
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax rules and legislation, keeping abreast of developments,
• Advise management on the tax implications of management decisions taken,
• Participates in internal and external audits by providing the necessary information and documents,
• Prepares the schedules and analyses required for audits,
• Provides recommendations on accounting practices and tax strategy,
• Coordinates activities between the NLMK entities (France/Belgium) and the external provider in charge of accounting, based on the quality criteria for services rendered and the objectives defined between the two companies,
• Travels to India several times a year.

Profile

• You have a higher degree in accounting or finance.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Belgian, French and IFRS accounting standards.
• Successful experience in a similar role in an industrial environment is an asset.
• You have excellent analytical skills and are comfortable communicating with colleagues and remotely.
