Function
Mission
Industrialization Engineer NLMK Strip, need to implement Product Industrialization and Quality steel product optimization through the trial process, manufacturing technologies, define assembly methods, processes and equipment at the sites of NLMK Strip (La Louviere, Manage, Strasbourg). Industrialization engineer works in close cooperation with production teams at lines, process teams, planning and quality departments of each sites.
NLMK strip is producer of steel product in sheets and coils (Hot rolled, Pickled, Cold rolled, Galvanized, Painted)
He/She ensure planning and designing of products, trial realization, report preparing and implementation in standard production process.
Main responsabilities
- Trials preparation and realization.
- Risk analysis of trials though full chain of production.
- Defining weak points of industrialization trials.
- Preparation of reports with indication possibility to improve weakness.
- Write procedures for the operation of new or existing equipment.
- Ensure product stability in time during and after industrialization (after-care) via quality improvements, strong problem solving, risk mitigation actions.
- Ensure data gathering processes and analysis in order to facilitate the decision making process.
- Drive process and system innovations to improve efficiency and collaboration in the change management framework.
- Quality product optimisation from slabs to final products (Hot rolled, Pickled, galvanized and pre-painted).
- Support RTC and Quality department and deal with the customers.
- Maintain awareness of new manufacturing technology and equipment and investigate their potential applications and recommend incorporation of new technology for Company applications where feasible and practical.
Profile
Technical and human skills
- Data analysis, statistical methods and experience in using software (Minitab).
- LSS Green belt and DFSS certified.
- Diploma of Material science.
- Structured.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Writing reports in english/french.
- Availability to work on floor.
- Languages French, English.
