Mission

The role of the Material Supply Officer is to support the Supply Chain activity through a strong management of raw and semi-finished material supply. More specifically, He/She will be doing the Operational management of raw materials, ensuring to have the right material in front the production line according to the planning and customers need. He/She’ll also for the semi-finished goods, ensure the supply, orders allocation and inventory management (quantity and quality) according to customer requirements and company needs. He/She will have to structure the processes by implementing performance management and standard procedures. He/She will work daily with the Material Planning team, the Planning and scheduling team, Customer Service, Logistics and Operations. The candidate should be analytical, meticulous, with a strong continuous improvement mindset, and a real team player.

He/She is reporting to the Planning Manager.

Main responsibilities

• Daily analysis of raw materials inventory and adherence with the production planning.
• Implement correctives actions in order to ensure the Customer Satisfaction.
• Pilot the implementation of structural actions in order to eliminate all the encountered issues.
• Purchase of semi-finished materials according to customers specifications and commercial forecasts.
• Structure the processes (who, what, when, how, performance management).
• Follow-up of material supplied (Production, deliveries, IT transfer, etc.).
• Maintain inventory levels in quality and quantity.
• Build, maintain and follow up of needed KPIs to ensure the proper management of activities.
• Establish the necessary procedures to maintain the knowledge.
• Back-up for the full supply of raw material.

Profile

Background

• Master degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data analysis or related experience.
• Experience of 4+ years in Supply Chain / Operational Efficiency / Material management / Data analysis.

Hard & soft skills

• French mother tongue; Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
• Strong computer skills specifically advanced skills utilizing Excel in data analysis.
• Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Team spirit as the role will require to collaborate with larger teams.
• Quickly adaptable to changing processes and requirement.
