Function

Mission

The role of the Supply and Demand Officer is to support the Supply Chain activity through a strong S&OP output. More specifically, he/she is in charge of the production capacity offer in the S&OP (volume, type of products, buffers, etc), and he/she is also supporting on changes in S&OP models (update and improvement).

He/She is reporting to the S&OP and Method Manager.

Main responsibilities

• In charge of production capacities follow up.
• Responsible for Supply capacity offer in S&OP.
• In charge of product production quotas follow up and update.
• In charge of defining with operations the right production standards:
  • Agrees with production on capacity opening,
  • Defines size and location of production buffers,
  • Defines standard lead times and establish standard practices regarding WIP,
  • Coordinates exceptions management with operation and demand manager in front “nonstandard” situations.
• In tandem with S&OP Manager, reconciles data from systems for S&OP (Order book, Backlog, …).
• In charge of developing effective forecast model.
• Maintaining demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitoring and reporting on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets.
• Scheduling regular forecast review meeting with management.
• Facilitates and actively participate in Demand prioritization meeting.

Profile

Background

• Master degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related experience.
• Experience of 4+ years in Supply Chain / Operations or Operational Efficiency.

Hard & soft skills

• Strong computer skills specifically advanced skills utilizing Excel in data analysis.
• Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Team spirit as the role will require to collaborate with larger teams.
• Quickly adaptable to changing processes and requirement.
• French mother tongue; Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
