Function

Mission

As Quality System Manager, you will report to the Management and Industrialization System Manager. You will contribute to the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the processes required for the proper functioning of the quality management system (process approach).

You ensure communication and awareness of applicable standards, customer and regulatory requirements. You identify and submit to management the needs for improvement of the quality management system.

Main responsibilities

  • Establish the vision of the Quality Management System, consistent with and supportive of the organization.
  • Help establish the process approach. Identify the processes and indicators required for the organization to function properly.
  • Act as Product Safety and Conformity Representative for products manufactured by NLMK STRIP.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements and customer satisfaction, and raise employee awareness of customer requirements (CSR compliance and access to customer portals).
  • Ensure regulatory and legal watch (Reach, RoHS, Euratom, Conflict Minerals, IMDS, etc.).
  • Assist management in defining and drafting management policy, and in planning its objectives. Also informs of any events or risks that may have an influence on results and certifications.
  • Establish core tool standards (Amdec, monitoring plan, process sheet, etc.).
  • Organize management reviews in collaboration with operational and support process managers.
  • Measure the effectiveness of the management system (plan, conduct and monitor internal audits, analyze indicators, steer the implementation of corrective and preventive actions).
  • Organize, coordinate and monitor assigned projects in compliance with pre-defined financial, human and time criteria.
  • Define document management standards for procedures, operating modes, forms, etc., and support their application within the company. Take charge of certification files (internal and external audits).
  • Represent the organization during external audits and management system audits.

Profile

Profile

  • You have a Master's degree, preferably in a technical field.
  • You have at least 5 years' successful experience in an equivalent position.
  • You have experience in an industrial environment.
  • You are familiar with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards. ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are an asset.
  • You are fluent in English (B2 minimum).
