The S&OP Manager ensures a proper balance between the sales, the production capacities and the financial targets. That is done by working with all the departments (Sales, Production, Finance,…). He/She is the owner of the S&OP process, and has to give with his/her team the best mid-term view to take decisions. He/She is responsible of the improvement projects about the S&OP process and tools.

The role requires an ability to collaborate all along the division and to manage a direct team (2 to 3 people).

He/She is reporting to the Supply Chain Director and is member of Supply Chain Management team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the S&OP process on both Sales Demand and Capacity Supply (Preparations, Executive meetings and follow up of decisions).
  • Improve the S&OP process (Integration of Supply and Demand, products quotas, logistics, leads times, design of flows, improvement of IT tools, implementation of all the necessary routines and processes to achieve the results).
  • Achieve a high level of reliability of S&OP.
  • Develop and strengthen the new department (trainings, recruitment, integration in the SC).



  • Master degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related experience.
  • Experience of 6+ years in Supply Chain / Operations or Operational Efficiency.
  • Strong experience in Project management.
  • Knowledge of steel industry.


  • French mother tongue; Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
  • Strong computer skills specifically advanced skills utilizing Excel in data analysis.
  • Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Team spirit as the role will require to collaborate with larger teams.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
